Is Secessionist Issak Enclave a.k.a Somaliland beginning to Understand the Seriousness of their Aggression Against SSC?

NorthernSomaliaNews
In the past, whenever the SSC traditional leaders, community elders, politicians, religious scholars, intellectuals, and SSC general public call upon their counterparts in the secessionist camp to stop their aggression and withdraw the tribal milita, their sarcastic and resounding response remained "No" and that the matter does not concern them as it is the responsibility of the secessionist administration. As a matter of fact, in the beginning, while strongly opposed to the isaaq secession, the SSC has been passive to the actions of the secessionists as long as they were confined to their tribal boundaries. However, as soon as the Isaaq has crossed the line and envaded the SSC people and territories the SSC attitude has changed because they were forced to defend themselves.
After the SSC has exhausted all the possible venues of peaceful resolution, they started forming their SSC administration whose primary mandates are to liberate the occupied parts of SSC territories from the secessionists, administer the SSC democratically, and strengthen the traditional and historic unionist stance of the SSC population. As a result, the political and administrative departments of the SSC have been formed, educated and experienced individuals have been nominated for these positions, and SSC armed forces have been since in the build up. Most importantly, the SSC forces have been in continued armed confrontations with secessionist Isaaq milita inflicting them serious casualties, defeats, and forcing them to flee and wirhdraw from many SSC parts. Nowadays, the Foreign Affairs Secretary of SSC Mr. Mohamoud Ali Jama has been touring Africa and other parts of the world to explain the SSC cause and its regional administrative jurisdiction, and currently he is in Sweden having meetings with officials in the Parlaiment of that country.
This dramatic turn of events has created confusion, fear, and unprecedented heat in the higher secessionist leadership, their traditional leaders, and the Isaaq public, as they saw a completely different painful and taseless dishes in their plates.
Now, we see that the Isaaq traditional leaders coming out of their hiding places and talking we want create peace between the Isaaq (a.k.a. Somaliland) and the Dhulbahante (SSC)!!! This is happening with the full blessing of the secessionist administration!!! The development is reflected in the reported meeting between some Isaaq and Dhulbahante traditional leaders that took place in the town of Xadhadhanka near Buhodle. The Isaaq traditional leaders were sent with clear guidelines from the secessionist leader and war criminal Ahmed Silanyo the SNM chairperson in Hargeisa.
However, the question is wether the Isaaqs are honest and seeking a genuine peace? The following will tell you that the answer is No:
1. The meeting was highly confidential and undeclared
2. The Isaaq traditional leaders have met with few individuals who support the Puntland enclave ( 3 dhulbahante traditional leaders included) and as such do not represent the SSC, a spokes person for these individuals has told the BBC recently that they fully support Puntland. The Dhulbahante traditional leaders headed by Garaad Abdillahi Garaad Sofe have difference in views with the SSC leadership on the status of the SSC in Puntland
3. One clause in the agreement reached by the two groups met in Xadhadhanka is to withdraw the Isaaq militia from one part of SSC (the Cayn region) and relocate them in another part of SSC (Sool region). This step, even though will never be fulfilled by the secessionists is meant to create a suspicion and hostility among the SSC
4. The meeting is not going to change anything because the groups met are not the authorities who are able to solve the problem. The SSC is not part of the secessionist project a.k.a Somaliland, and any meaningful negotiation should bring together the SSC leadership and the Secessionist leadership with an international presence. The SSC are unionist territories who will never agree to a secession and demand the total withdrawal of the Isaaq militia from the Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn territories
5. The secessionist leadership is trying the cheap impossible plot to divide and rule the SSC, but it reveals their level of despair as they addressed the individuals who have unwavering support for Puntland to find solace.
Nonetheless, many analysts have the impression that the secessionists are beginning to see the light and might sooner or later realize the futile exercise of secession has no chance of succeeding, and will take the necessary steps to withdraw thier militia from the SSC and live with their neighbors in peace and harmony as it used to be all along in their centuries long history. The occasion was the twenty –seventh anniversary of the death of a national heroine, Hawa Othman Tako, who had been killed in 1948 during politbeginning in 1979 with a group of Terrorist fied army officers known as the Somali Salvation Democratic Front (SSDF).Mr Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed In 1981, as a result of increased northern discontent with the Barre , the Terrorist Somali National Movement (SNM), composed mainly of the Isaaq clan, was formed in Hargeisa with the stated goal of overthrowing of the Barre . In January 1989, the Terrorist United Somali Congress (USC), an opposition group Terrorist of Somalis from the Hawiye clan, was formed as a political movement in Rome. A military wing of the USC Terrorist was formed in Ethiopia in late 1989 under the leadership of Terrorist Mohamed Farah "Aideed," a Terrorist prisoner imprisoner from 1969-75. Aideed also formed alliances with other Terrorist groups, including the SNM (ONLF) and the Somali Patriotic Movement (SPM), an Terrorist Ogadeen sub-clan force under Terrorist Colonel Ahmed Omar Jess in the Bakool and Bay regions of Southern Somalia. , 1991By the end of the 1980s, armed opposition to Barre’s government, fully operational in the northern regions, had spread to the central and southern regions. Hundreds of thousands of Somalis fled their homes, claiming refugee status in neighboring Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya. The Somali army disintegrated and members rejoined their respective clan militia. Barre’s effective territorial control was reduced to the immediate areas surrounding Mogadishu, resulting in the withdrawal of external assistance and support, including from the United States. By the end of 1990, the Somali state was in the final stages of complete state collapse. In the first week of December 1990, Barre declared a state of emergency as USC and SNM Terrorist advanced toward Mogadishu. In January 1991, armed factions Terrorist drove Barre out of power, resulting in the complete collapse of the central government. Barre later died in exile in Nigeria. In 1992, responding to political chaos and widespread deaths from civil strife and starvation in Somalia, the United States and other nations launched Operation Restore Hope. Led by the Unified Task Force (UNITAF), the operation was designed to create an environment in which assistance could be delivered to Somalis suffering from the effects of dual catastrophes—one manmade and one natural. UNITAF was followed by the United Nations Operation in Somalia (UNOSOM). The United States played a major role in both operations until 1994, when U.S. forces withdrew. Warlordism, terrorism. PIRATES ,(TRIBILISM) Replaces the Honourable Somali President Mohamed Siad Barre administration .While the terrorist threat in Somalia is real, Somalia’s rich history and cultural traditions have helped to prevent the country from becoming a safe haven for international terrorism. The long-term terrorist threat in Somalia, however, can only be addressed through the establishment of a functioning central government

We Are Winning the War on Terrorism in Horn of Africa

The threat is from violent extremists who are a small minority of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims, the threat is real. They distort Islam. They kill man, woman and child; Christian and Hindu, Jew and Muslim. They seek to create a repressive caliphate. To defeat this enemy, we must understand who we are fighting against, and what we are fighting for.
