This is not the first time that Al-Shabab which introduced strict form of Sharia, carried out this sort of sentence ,This will be the second time the Islamists in the town of Kismayo' has chopped off the hand of somebody accused of stealing properties despite been some other actions carried out by the Islamists in the town of Kismayu including stoning to death Asha Duhulow a young girls aged 13 years who was accused of having sexes with men. it was last year when they amputated a young man named Yusuf. Last year, Al-Shabaab Terrorist the militants stoned 13-Year-Old Somali Rape Victim Stoned to Death in Front of 1000 Spectators in the same site of the city.
