Reports coming from the southern Somali port town of Kismayo, the capital of the Lower Jubba region indicate that Al-Shababa have beheaded four men accused of espionage and have arrested dozens of others. AHL
Relatives who were reached for comment by All Headlines News have confirmed that four men who were sentenced to death by an Al-shabaab court and sumarrily beheaded. The men were snatched from their homes in the city last week.

Al-Shabaab accused the men of being spies for the Somali government, but Shamso said that her brother was too young to commit espionage.
“All people in regions they control are against them, because of their bad behavior—we are calling on the Somali government forces to suddenly come and liberate us” she said in a telephone conversation with AHN on Sunday morning.
One of Al-shabaab commanders in the city said that the men were executed because of crimes against Islam.
“Yes we have beheaded them and we are telling with a loud voice that every one who is found of guilt against Islam will be punished” Sheik Mohamed Al Iraqi told Al-Shabaab radio in Kismayo on Saturday evening.
The extremist official also said that 23 others were arrested in the past several days in connection with espionage and "other crimes".
Al Iraqi said that the detained people are under investigation and will be brought before an Islamic court in the region after investigations have ended.
Kismayo is the most strategic town in southern Somalia with an international airport and seaport and it has been under the control of Al-shabaab militants since late 2008.AHL
