Somali parliament house speaker Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden rejected to meet Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo on Saturday.Farmajo is head of the committee to end up the wrangle between Somali president Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Speaker Aden. A statement from the Prime Minister’s office last Thursday called the parliament speaker to have a meeting on Saturday with the PM.Prime Minister Farmajo said in a press release that his cabinet is responsible for political decision making in the country. "We appointed a committee to end the quarrel between the government Institutions and to move past this transition period,"Somali parliament extended their term three more years on Feb 03, 2011, while the cabinet ministers voted one more year to extend all the government institutions mandate on March. Somali president appealed the parliament to revise the decision while the speaker said the parliament has the right to make their own decisions.Somali transitional government’s mandate is scheduled to expire on August this year.Somalia’s transitional government backed by African Union troops is fighting with Al-Shabaab, the Al-Qaeda linked militia to Somalia. The militias control much of south and central Somalia including large parts of the war-ravaged capital, Mogadishu.Somalia was without functioning government since 1991, when warlords overthrown Siad Barre’s administration.
