Heavy clashes between Somali government forces and AL shabaab fighters on Wednesday erupted parts of Gedo region in southern Somalia.The confrontation, which was very fierce, started after a number of Al shabaab fighters waged hit and run attacks on military bases manned by the military forces of Somali government in the village of Busar in Gedo region in southern Somalia.At least four people from tow warring sides have died in the battle and dozens more injured.Al shabaab spokesperson told the local media that their fighters attacked bases of Somali government troops in the region.He said that they inflicted irretrievable losses, by capturing a number of guns, battle vehicles and soldiers during the clashes.But, officials of Somali government forces in the region denied Al shsbaab claims saying they are still in the bases and no casualties sustained them.
