Somalia’s government troops backed by the African Union peacekeepers have retaken control of key positions in northeast of Mogadishu following fierce clashes with rebel insurgents, officials said on Sunday.The AU peacekeeping troops using tanks and other heavy artilleries joined the war for the first time and helped the government troops to push the Islamic militants out of Abdiaziz and Karan neighborhoods in north of the capital.ArabArabic and some of them claimed they were from Britain and the United States of America.
