According to a resident in Mandera who has spoken to media the fighting between the two sides lasted after 10 minutes or so.“I live in a place which is not far from the place where the demarcation line betweenthe two countries passes, and if I avoid telling false to the media the exchange of the fire between the two sides was in action for 10 to 15 minutes, and I have not witnessed any casualties between the two sides, but what I can confirm is that it was a combat between the al shabaab command and the Kenyan military force” said Mohamoud Ali a resident living in Mandera Kenya speaking to media AP on Tuesday.
