Somalia: “The suicide bomber was a foreigner” says police chief General Abdi Hassan Awale

The Somali police chief General Abdi Hassan Awale has sent condolence to the families and the relatives of the victims of Saturday suicide attack in the Somali capital Mogadishu. “We have got tips that the suicide bomber was a foreigner, but yet we haven’t got his nationality,investigations are underway to identify the nationality of the suicide attack carrier that was absolutely barbaric action and I strongly condemn it, I wish for those who have died to be in paradise for they were innocent and those who were wounded to recover soon” said the Somali police commander General Abdi Hassan Awale speaking to media.The suicide attack on Saturday was the first attack targeted at the Ugandan troops in the Somali capital Mogadishu, but there have been several other similar attacks carried on the Ethiopian troops when they were present in Somali, so do the Burundian troops in which they have lost 1 soldier.
The Islamic scholars, the intellectuals, elders and the mothers have condemned the suicide attack.
On the other hand the regional administration of Banadir region has pledged to the help the wounded persons on Saturday’s suicide attack.
